Messe pour la fête du Canada – Prions pour notre pays
Canada Day Mass – Praying for our country
À l’occasion de la fête du Canada, la Paroisse Ste-Geneviève offre une messe spéciale pour notre pays. Prions pour que nos dirigeants respectent la dignité de la personne humaine, que leurs politiques soient orientées vers le bien commun, que le principe de subsidiarité soit appliqué pour permettre à chacun de participer activement à la société, et que la solidarité soit au cœur de nos actions pour construire une communauté plus juste et fraternelle.
On the occasion of Canada Day, Ste-Geneviève Parish will offer a special Mass for our country. Let us pray that our leaders respect the dignity of the human person, that their policies are oriented towards the common good, that the principle of subsidiarity is applied to enable everyone to participate actively in society, and that solidarity is at the heart of our actions to build a more just and fraternal community.

Cette activité se déroule en anglais. Ce sera une célébration de guérison et d’onction présidée par Père Xavier Khan Vattayil, le 16 juillet de 17h30 à 20h00 à l’oratoire St-Joseph. »
Greetings from St. Joseph’s Oratory, Montreal. We are organizing an evening Retreat of Anointing and Healing in English. The event will take place on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm in the Crypt Church (Ground floor) at St. Joseph’s Oratory. This is a rare opportunity to pray with this amazing Catholic priest, Fr. Xavier Khan Vattayil, PDM, who has gifts of the Holy Spirit. He is a world-renowned preacher and founder of a Religious Order. During the Retreat, we will be exposing the Major Reliquary of Saint André Bessette for veneration. We will also have anointing and blessing with the Oil of St. Joseph. Please print the attached flyer for more details. We request you to put this flyer on your noticeboard or parish bulletin to facilitate people who would like to join us for such a great event. Feel free to organize a pilgrimage from your parish to the Oratory. I am sure that you and your parishioners will profit out of this grace-filled evening!

Every summer, several seminarians travel to different parts of the continent to lead mini-retreats in parishes, as part of a tour called “Exult”. The aim of Exult is to lead participants into a rediscovery of their relationship with Jesus Christ, to help them achieve greater freedom in praising and worshiping Him, and to strengthen their faith in His healing power.”
